Basketball Winter Athlete Spotlight: Kaleb Eller

Kaleb Eller is a junior at Audubon High School. He plays varsity boys’ basketball. He transferred from Gloucester Catholic High School to Audubon last year. He has been playing basketball ever since he was 7 years old. He is passionate about basketball because his father used to play at Camden County College. He stated that his dad is his role model. His dad also trains him. Kaleb is also planning to play basketball for a college team to follow in his dad’s footsteps.

His first basketball season went very well. This season he has a total of 256 points and 89 assists. The team played well together and exceeded all expectations.

During the season he trains six times a week with his team, and twice a week he attends the U Movement Basketball Training Center.

  • His motivation is just working hard to achieve his goals
  • Pre-game he likes to listen to music and eat gummy candies 
  • Post-game he likes to eat pasta and chicken 
  • One of his weaknesses he believes is being vocal with his team, but he is  working with his team to bond
  • One of his strengths he believes is working hard all the time and not giving up 
  • One of his favorite things to do is hang out with his friends 
  • He wants to become a physical therapist
